My life as an artist began while attending college at California University of Pennsylvania.  After graduation in 1999, I took a lifechanging journey from the Monongahela River to the Mississippi River.  I came to Dubuque solely to apprentice with master potter (and all around genius) Ken Bichell and to help him start Mississippi Mud Studios.  Within my first year apprenticing with Ken, I taught classes, helped build a kiln, learned a multitude of incredible techniques, and fired an anagama in Connecticut with Ken and Joy Brown.  His knowledge proved invaluable and strengthened my love for pottery and all art even further.

Eight years later, armed (and dangerous!) with a BA in Fine Art and another in Computer Graphics, I am a full-time potter and freelance artist.  I am currently working on starting a youth and senior’s art program as a collaborative effort through Assisi Village.  I am also building a base of work that I will make available to the world this spring!

If you are interested in any of my fine art or graphic art, feel free to contact me or stop in the studio!
