Studio Associate and Resident Chief
My interest in pottery happened by chance in 2003, I stopped at the Mississippi Mug Tea and Coffee House, in Dubuque, Iowa for a cup of coffee. There was a pottery studio below the coffee shop, The Mississippi Mud Studio. The owner Ken Bichell and I started talking during my daily cups and one thing led to another. Ken showed me how to throw clay and I was hooked.
As well as being an associate at the Mud Studios, I'm part owner of the salt/wood kiln in East Dubuque, Illinois. Over the years, I've been active and inactive as an associate at the Studio and am looking forward to getting my hands back in clay.
