My interest in art started in earnest in the first grade. Since then I have explored about every media, including paper mache and plastic clays. When I took a handbuilding class from Ken Bichell several years ago, I felt that I had found the medium I was meant to work in. I have taken instruction in tile making, sculpture, and wheel throwing from some of the areas well known artists. Clay challenges me with every project, it is a continual learning process and a thoughtful artistic process.
